Here I am with my "End of the Year" summer printing letter. I can't believe it is so late! It's time to start planning our printing schedule for the summer. Thanks for making it another great year by allowing us to do your printing throughout the school year. We look forward to helping you with your printing and graphic needs for the 2009-2010 school year. Our goal is to do everything we can to make your preparation for the next school year as easy as possible.

We ask that, when time permits, all schools start taking inventory of their printing needs for the next school year. Please send in all printing requests for: handbooks, letterhead, envelopes, report cards, carbonless forms, sport schedules, emergency cards, library/hall passes, posters, year end reports and any other printing you will need to start school in the fall. Please keep in mind that we offer full color copies as well, and as a "Summer Special" color copies will be only 30 cents ea.

Some of your original forms may already be here in our files. Therefore, we ask that you please indicate any changes that will be made on any items you plan to have reprinted. You may fax your requests or email your information to sgonzales@sisd.cc. It would be helpful if all printing requests could reach us at the REMC Print Shop no later than July 13^th. This will enable us to work on them throughout the summer, assuring you of a finished product for the start of school in late August. If you have any printing materials that will not be ready by this date, please send them in as soon as they are ready. If you have any laminating to be done we will be happy to do that as well. We have 4 Ellison letter machines and an extra large Ellison machine with several extra large dies available for your use. Last year we purchased a "Pocket Laminator" that can laminate your items in the HARD PLASTIC giving it a durable coating that will not bend. We can laminate any size item up to and including 11x17. It Works Great! Please stop in and let us do a sample for you.

We are open year round for your convenience and our regular office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Summer hours will be 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. from June 15 to July 2. The ISD is trying out a new pilot program for the month of July… Monday-Thursday we will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and closed on Fridays.  On August 3 - August 21 our hours will go back to 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday-Friday.
